  • 1-3 years of previous Personal Training experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Nationally accredited PT Certification within 60 days of employment
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
  • Reliable, professional, computer literate


  • Conduct safe and effective personal training & stretch sessions
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds
  • Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs and products
  • Submit Daily Client Report Form with supporting documentation for payment
  • Maintain updated client list & submit to Fitness Manager
  • Follow all policies and procedures regarding payment transactions
  • Complete all appropriate forms as needed
  • Maintain required production hours per pay period
  • Sell motivators at Point Of Sale
  • Follow all guidelines in Personal Training Handbook
  • Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
  • Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
  • Maintain professional atmosphere at all times
  • Know club facility and services
  • Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook

  • Daily 1-1 Meeting with Fitness Manager
  • Bi-Weekly Personal Training Meetings
  • Employee Training/Certification Meetings
  • Annual Staff Meetings

Physical Demands:

Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time
