This is truly a rare opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced sales executive to work at a market leader helping to fuel the future. The Vice President of Named Accounts and Digital Manufacturing Sales will be part of a winning team reporting to the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations. This position will lead a team of 500 professionals responsible for sales of all Autodesk products and services to the company's largest customers in the AEC, Manufacturing, Automotive and Entertainment industry sectors focused on enterprise selling to exceed financial and business objectives. The incumbent will drive focus on the entire customer success cycle which include the land, adopt, expand, and renew sales motions. Success in this role is measured in terms of annual contract value growth, providing direction and leadership on the go-to-market strategy, effective sales management, and execution to drive business results and meet/exceed financial and business objectives. The incumbent possesses strong sales management skills, international sales experience, and business acumen skills necessary for driving an overall Named Accounts and Digital Manufacturing Sales strategy in conjunction with the Business Strategy & Marketing, Customer Success, Global Sales & Success Operations and Product Development organizations.


* Lead a Global Sales organization of 500 employees with responsibility of $750M - $1B in annual contract value. Constantly inspire and drive the team to deliver exceptional results
* Participate as a member of the Worldwide Field Operations Leadership Team setting direction and driving execution of the go-to-market strategy for the company
* Own and lead key executive sponsor relationships with CxO level customers
* Be a voice and face for Autodesk's brand which includes presenting our vision and direction to large audiences
* Ability to support the team in the negotiation of complex, strategic, multi-element enterprise business agreements
* Leverage customer and market intelligence from all sources to efficiently and effectively penetrate markets and accounts
* Work collaboratively with the Customer Success Organization to drive adoption and expansion sales and success motions
* Work with key internal and external customers to ensure business is priced appropriately and transacted accurately using the highest ethical standards
* Manage and improve sales processes by optimizing the use of SalesForce.com and other tools to provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
* Hire, lead, coach, develop and mentor sales talent

Minimum Qualifications

* 15 year's sales and/or business development experience with a demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
* Superior communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to build relationships at multiple levels within an organization
* Strong influencing skills and ability to deliver results in a global and matrixed organization
* Able to effectively collaborate with groups across the Company
* Demonstrated ability to grasp the technical aspects of the business (i.e. fully understanding the products and services to achieve and maximize sales results)
* Proven team leadership abilities including: creative and proactive approach to conflict resolution and problem solving, mentoring, coaching, recognition and performance management
* Able to adapt and change with changing priorities and business initiatives
* A highly motivated, results-oriented, self-starter with strong analytical skills
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* Position will require approximately 50% travel
