Currently seeking a Registered Nurse who possesses a BSN and has 3-5 years experience with Home Health and Wound Care. The ideal candidate will be required to travel to 8-10 patients homes within Los Angeles and Downey during their shift.
Responsible for assisting physicians in treating patients. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Explains procedures and administers prescribed medications and treatments to patients. Prepares equipment and aids physician during patient treatment and examination. Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to assess the patient's condition. Documents nursing history and physical assessments, and initiates a patient education plan according to the individualized needs of the patient. Rotates through various clinical services and perform duties such as preparing rooms, sterilizing instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgery. Requires a BS in Nursing; 5 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide and equivalent background. Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state required. Home health and wound care experience Cover Southern LA & Downey region (make sure candidates are within a commutable distance to cover this area with reliable transportation). 8-10 homes per day Bed-bound patients Southern LA & Downey region Electronic charting Program- Transitional Care Combined Homecare. Follow up work done remotely
