The Vice President of Finance will lead the areas of forecasting, planning, business decision analysis, and operational and business reviews for the organization. This position will also provide business consultation to the COO, CFO, and other Executive leaders and provide meaningful insights and business analytics.
Partner across the organization to develop short and long term financial operating plans; drive implementation of these plans and measure effectiveness
Provide finance support to corporate and division peers to optimize performance within each business segment.
Perform actual to budget variance analysis and highlight risks and opportunities.
Review findings with senior leadership and drive follow up actions as appropriate.
Prepare annual operating budgets, working closely with division leaders, to ensure budgets are well thought out and within strategic guidelines.
Follow-up throughout the year on budget versus actual and guide leadership team on adjustments to remain onbudget.
Develop rolling quarterly projections based on past results, current trends and incorporating latest analysis.
Provide division peers with strategic insights on issues specific to their areas.
Develop high quality presentations for Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
Identify the business financial strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and make recommendations to address these areas.
Develop key performance indicators and metrics dashboard to monitor the health of the business.
Lead FP&A team as a mentor, advisor and manager.
Build relationships with all C-level executives and leadership as a trusted partner who provides deep financial insight.
Develop scalable processes and tools to support future growth including developing mid to long term plans for each division.
Develop financial models to support analysis of a variety of financial and operating activities. Qualifications
MBA or CPA strongly preferred
Strong finance business partnership skills with all levels of the organization
15+ years corporate financial planning and analysis experience
Preference for public company experience
Strong financial modeling skills required
Expert with finance tools and modeling - including Excel, Power Point and business systems
Ability to meet rigorous deadlines of company, multitask and prioritize
Strong people leadership skills and ability to manage people and processes
Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
